Where to begin: House Hunting
Tuesday, February 14, 2017
Whether you are in the market for your first home or your seventh, house hunting can be a demanding process! If you’re overwhelmed just thinking about the task ahead of you, here are a few places to start:
1. Evaluate your budget. You’ll be able to determine how much you can put down and what price range you should consider.
2. Get pre-approved. This will also help you narrow down your price range. Talk to a lender upfront so you don’t have to worry about approval after you find you dream home.
3. Find a real estate agent. There is no fee to the buyer, but there are benefits. Our agents know if a home you might be interested in will be going on the market soon, as well as negotiation protocols, forms to complete and everything needed to finalize your sale seamlessly.
4. Start looking at homes! You are welcome to let us know what homes for sale you’re interested in. We’ll use the MLS and other resources to find listings based on your preferences. When you see something you like, we’ll arrange for you to see the homes at a time that’s convenient for you. We’ll walk you through the offer process and it’s smooth sailing from there!
We strive to de-stress your search every step of the way. Give us a call and you’ll see how our service goes beyond the sale.
